The vertically long and square head light is mounted low, the shroud and the under cowl and like are finished to have strong sharpness design
Especially, ER-6n is equipped with the fork guards for protection of forks from stepping stones due to having no cowl.
Same as Ninja 650 or other, ER-6n is also equipped with offset lay-down rear suspension that is attached the body side.
The swing arm and frame that are made of high tension steel and forming two pipe shapes are characteristic in looks.
It is the will product that it has characteristic looks includes two exhaust pipes using many pipes whole this bike.
ER-6n carries a 649cc, water-cooled, parallel 2-cylinder engine.
Max power is 72HP/8500rpm.
Engine is equipped with 180 degrees crankshaft which has smooth and powerful acceleration at high engine revolution range, so this engine is designed to run with comfortably as sports bike.
On the other hand, as the vibration is suppressed by the balancer, this bike is also suitable for riding calmly without high engine revolution speed.
The weight is 204kg which is slightly heavier than previous model, but everyday convenience is improved by increased fuel tankage and so on.
