KAWASAKI Ninja1000
It was announced that Ninja1000 (called Z1000SX in some area) that is sports tourer of the liter class that Kawasaki proud of, will be minor changed in 2017.
Two big eyes lights characterizing the current Ninja series are kept, but detail design change of light shape and cowl around them are added.
Ninja1000 is also considered for the tandem run, a grove bar is changed bigger by this change.
The rear seat is relatively thicker, which makes comfort when sitting.
The suspension carries inversion type front fork of φ41mm and horizontal back link rear suspension which the Kawasaki proud of.
The engine is 1043cc water-cooled parallel 4-cylinder.
The max power is 142HP/10000rpm.
Additionally, measurement of inertia of 6 axes is enabled in the model in 2017 by installing IMU.
In addition to traction control, by highly precise adjusting KLCM(Kawasaki Launch Control Mode) which controls wheel spinning in the low speed, it realizes ideal run.
By this improvement, it becomes a more mature model as a large sports tourer.
