KAWASAKI Z900
Z900 which is newly added to the Z series of Kawasaki.
This is the naked motorcycle which has a lightweight new frame and a four-cylinder engine of the large displacement.
As for the styling, a lot of elements that are common to the Z series, for example the tank with the voluminous feel, are included.
The suspension carries inversion type front fork of φ41mm in front and horizontal back link rear suspension in rear.
On brakes, 300mm double discs in front, single of 250mm in rear are equipped.
In addition, it supports the K-ACT ABS making front and rear brake working together, therefore it keeps stable by actuating front and rear brake pressure before either of wheels are locked.
The engine is 4 strokes water-cooled parallel four-cylinder of 948cc.
The max power is 125HP/9500rpm whose value is about middle of Z1000 and Z800.
But thanks to the lightest weight of 210kg among Z series, the accelerating force is as same as the upper size model.
In the model in 2017 of Kawasaki, some models are lightweighted greatly, this Z900 is supposed to be able to enjoy moderate lightness in spite of being large displacement.
