SUZUKI V-Strom650
V-Strom650 was introduced with minor changes at the recently held Intermoto.
The design became similar to V-Strom 1000 with the functional specification being largely developed.
This time, both V-Strom 650 and 650XT was introduced with minor changes. More changes were introduced with this V-Strom 650.
Double eye lightnings were abandoned and replaced with large single eye front light, which is equipped with beak shaped front fender. This makes this model appear as an adventurous model.
Suspension is a combination of standing forks and linking mono shock. At the rear, preload adjustment function is added.
Brake is 310mm dual disc with 2 piston caliper、at the rear it is equipped with 260mm disc with single piston caliper.
Engine is 645cc water cooled V type 2 cylinder.
Over 60 changes were made for the new engine, making this more ecological engine.
Newly designed resin coated piston was adopted, which creates higher combustion efficiency, improving the fuel efficiency.
